Research Associate (PostDoc) (m/f/d)
(salary group EG 13 TV-L)
start immediately, fixed term for 3 years.
Extending your scientific profile e.g., by a habilitation or similar
Basic research in the area of Machine Learning in Sports (e.g., soccer)
An active role in the research group by supervising PhD students, theses, etc.
Teaching duties of 4 lecturing hours per week (SWS) on Bachelor and Master leave
Completed academic university degree (Master or equivalent) in the field of Computer Science, Mathematics, or similar
Relevant PhD thesis in the scope of Machine Learning in Sports
A solid number of publications in related international journals or conferences
Experience with Deep Learning and a focus on areas like Sports Analytics, Reinforcement Learning, Computer Vision, etc. (supported by publications)
International network, e.g., by co-authorships or research visits
Interest in interdisciplinary collaborations
Excellent written and spoken English
Flexible and family-friendly working hours
An up to date computing infrastructure (e.g., DGX-1)
Internal and external CPD courses
