My research mainly focuses on theoretical and applied Bayesian statistics, with a particular attention to sports modelling. Among the others, I have developed hierarchical models to predict outcomes for both football and volleyball; moreover, I have implemented some models for individual player performance in football. I am currently working to embed in an R package (footBayes) the fit and the predictions steps for some basic and more advanced football models.
